IUP freshman Ceasar Westbrook (McCaskey) was named PSAC Rookie of the Year in men's indoor track and field. At the conference championships, Westbrook placed fourth in the long jump and second in the triple jump with a season-best jump of 48'-6 1/4". At the national meet, he just missed All-America status by placing ninth in the triple jump.

Messiah College junior Jeremy Stoltzfus (Conestoga Valley) has been selected as Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week for his first victory of the season, a 10-0 win at Albright ... Shippensburg University junior outfielder Justin Garber (Elizabethtown) was named PSAC Western Division Player of the Week in baseball for hitting .500 on the week ...
