Lebanon Valley College sophomore guard Kyle Enoch (Hempfield) tied a career-high with 19 points in a victory over Goucher College earlier this week ... also at LVC, junior receiver Adam Brossman (Lebanon) has been named to the ECAC Division III Southeast All-Star Team (first team offense) ... Messiah College senior Jared Yoder (Lancaster Mennonite) scored 14 points to lead the Falcons over Richard Stockton College and win the second annual Messiah Invitational earlier this month ... also at Messiah, sophomores Kristen Groff (Lancaster Mennonite) and Ashley Brooks (Hempfield) are on the women's hoops team.

Brossman, who was also named to the All-MAC First Team, set a single-season school record for receiving yards (1,107) while tying school records for receptions (62), touchdown receptions (15), and scoring (94 points).

Widener's Weber is pre-season lacrosse All-American

For the second straight year, Widener junior midfielder Luke Weber (Manheim Twp) has been named an honorable mention Inside Lacrosse Division III Preseason All-American. Last season Weber ended tied for fourth in the conference with 33 goals, fifth with 51 points, tied for sixth with 18 assists, tied for first with 10 man-up goals and tied for fifth with 81 ground balls. The 2005 MAC Rookie of the Year also recorded a team-best 84 ground balls and won 57 percent of his face-offs.

Earnest earns first-team All-America honors

Johns Hopkins senior wide receiver Evan Earnest (Hempfield) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Football First Team. Earnest enjoyed the finest season of his career in 2006 as he had a personal-best 43 receptions for 470 yards and four touchdowns. Hitz on women's hoops honor roll

Elizabethtown College junior center and forward Audrey Hitz (Annville-Cleona) has been named to the Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Corporation (MASCAC) weekly basketball honor roll for the week ending December 3. Hitz currently leads Elizabethtown and ranks second in the Commonwealth Conference in rebounding with an average of 11.3 rebounds per game.

At the Franklin & Marshall Invitational this weekend, Kutztown junior Ashley Singer (Warwick) won the 100y freestyle and took second in the 200y and 500y freestyle; F&M junior Derek Nowak (Lancaster Catholic) won the 1650y freestyle, placed second in the 500y free and fourth in the 400y IM; Kutztown junior Sean Bonifas (Hempfield) won the 100y breast; and McDaniel senior Molly Bolek (Hempfield) placed fourth in the 1650y free.

Senior Kelly Trevisan (Manheim Twp) and sophomores Whitney Miller (Penn Manor) and Liz Macready (Cocalico) are members of the Bloomsburg field hockey team that won the NCAA DII national championship and went undefeated this season with a record of 24-0.

Philadelphia University senior forward Meg Abele (Warwick) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's basketball Player of the Week after scoring a game-high 33 points and recording three steals and a blocked shot in a game against East Stroudsburg.

On Wednesday in a win over Susquehanna, Elizabethtown junior Michael Schatzmann (Pequea Valley) led his team in scoring with a career-best total of 28 points. He shot 10-for-14 from the field, 4-for-6 from three-point range, and 4-for-4 from the free throw line, and also pulled in five rebounds.
