Atkins, Hibschman lead Messiah to DIII soccer championship

Senior Billie Jo Atkins (Cedar Crest) headed a goal in the 70th minute to lead Messiah College to the 2005 NCAA Division III women’s soccer Championship on Saturday with a 1-0 win over The College of New Jersey. It was Atkins' fourth goal of the season. Senior Sarah Hibschman (ELCO) was named to the 2005 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament Team.
