Commonwealth, PSAC highights

SOCCER
Elizabethtown College freshman Wes Bunting (McCaskey) headed a goal in Etown's 1-0 victory over Lebanon Valley College last Saturday.

Senior Sarah Hibshman (Elco) scored on a penalty kick to help Messiah College defeat Albright 2-0 on Saturday.

Freshman Amber Thomas (Conestoga Valley) had 10 digs in Juniata College's win against Widener on Tuesday.

FIELD HOCKEY
LVC sophomore Shauna Enck (Manheim Central) was named the Commonwealth Conference player of the week last week. Enck posted her second hat trick in Lebanon Valley’s 4-0 win at DeSales University on Saturday, scoring the team’s first three goals of the game. She also scored a goal in the 7-0 win over Dickinson College on Wednesday. Enck leads the team with 13 goals and is tied for the team lead in points (28) this season.

Messiah College senior Aftan Fisher (Pequea Valley) scored a goal in a win against Salisbury University on Saturday.

Senior forward Lauren Eby (Garden Spot) contributed an assist in Gettysyburg College's 3-0 win over Johns Hopkins last week.

Shippensburg University junior Natalie Grazan (Manheim Central) scored four goals in a 5-1 victory over East Stroudsburg University on Tuesday. Grazan now has 14 goals this season. Her 32 points places her second on the team and in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
