FIELD HOCKEY
In Big Ten field hockey action over the weekend, Penn State sophomore Kiersten Wood (Warwick) scored a goal in a 6-2 victory over Northwestern.

Eastern Mennonite University senior Jonalyn Denlinger (Lancaster Mennonite) scored unassisted to help EMU defeat F&M 2-1 in a non-conference field hockey game on September 17. Denlinger is joined by Lancaster Mennonite alumni Meghan Hershey, Lisa King and sister Julie Denlinger.

SOCCER
Eastern Mennonite University junior Joy Shaiebly (Lancaster Mennonite) recorded her third consecutive shutout in goal, making two saves and lowering her goals against average to 0.81, in a 6-0 win over Southern Virginia University last week. On Saturday, Shaiebly made six saves in a loss against Lynchburg College. Joining Shaiebly on the EMU roster are Vanessa Rice (Lancaster Mennonite), Carrie Keagy (Lancaster Mennonite), Christy Hurst (Ephrata), Alana Wenger (Lancaster Mennonite), and Lindsey Unruh (Conestoga Valley).
