Recaps from Ursinus, Etown, Dickinson, York & Towson

SOCCER — Dan Herr (Penn Manor) made a key assist to help lead Ursinus past Delaware Valley 3-0 in non-conference men’s soccer game on Tuesday.

FIELD HOCKEY — E-town Junior Whitney Brown (Manheim Central) scored a goal in Elizabethtown's 4-3 win over McDaniel on Saturday.

Sophomore Megan Kelly (Warwick) served up an assist in Dickinson's 6-2 defeat of Roanoke on Sunday in field hockey action.

Two former Hempfield field hockey players are now on the field for York College. Junior Rachel Hilt is a forward and sophomore Tiff Transue is goal keeper.

Towson junior field hockey goalkeeper Christina Armer (Conestoga Valley) had six saves in 2-0 loss to the University of Richmond on Sunday. Prior to Sunday's game, Armer had allowed only one goal in the last four outings.

X-COUNTRY — Senior Abbey Fergusson (Hempfield) took second (19:06) among D-II/D-III schools and fourth overall, and first-year Darcy McDonald (Warwick) finished fifth overall and third divisionally, as they helped Dickinson's cross country team to capture first place at the Towson Invitational on Saturday.
