More LL Leaguers make a splash

Freshman Lauren Galbraith (Cedar Crest) swam the third leg of the Shippensburg University 800 freestyle relay that placed fifth at the Rutgers Super Splash this past weekend.

F&M College sophomore Derek Nowak (Lancaster Catholic) placed second in the mile (16:47.20), third in the 500 freestyle (4:49.86), sixth in the 400 IM (4:26.04) and was part of an eighth-place finish in the 800 freestyle relay (7:34.80) to lead his team to a seventh place finish at the Franklin & Marshall College Invitational last weekend.

Bloomsburg University juniors Courtney Dean and Lauren Sterkenberg, both Hempfield grads, placed first in several relay events at the F&M Invitational last weekend. Dean captured gold in the 400 medley and 800 free relays and joined Sterkenberg for first in the 200 free relay.
