Swim highlights from the past week - updated 11/9

Clemson freshman Lauren Sindall (Manheim Twp.) placed second in the 200 medley and 200 free relays against South Carolina last Saturday ... Elizabethtown sophomore Molly Campbell (Lancaster Catholic) finished second in 50 and 100 free events and the 400 medley relay, while freshman Tara Ison (Hempfield) placed second in the 400 medley relay and third in the 100 free ... Kutztown University freshman Ashley Singer (Warwick) was a 4-event winner in a meet against East Stroudsburg. Singer won the 200 and 500 freestyle and 200 IM events along with the 400 medley relay ... Saint Francis University freshman Jenna Raptosh (Ephrata) won 3 individual events at the Bucknell Sprint Invitational on Saturday. Raptosh was victorious in the 100 breast and 100 and 400 IM events. SFU freshman Cara Morgan (Hempfield) took third in the 500 and in the process set a new SFU team record ... also at the Bucknell Sprint Invitational, Bucknell sophomore John Peterman (Penn Manor) placed second in the 100 free, junior Ian Rawhauser (Hempfield) placed first in the 200 freestyle and 400 medley relay and third in the 50 freestyle. Peterman and Rawhauser teamed up to help Bucknell win the 400 freestyle relay ... Bloomsburg University junior Lauren Sterkenberg (Hempfield) was a winner in the 200 butterfly, while junior Courtney Dean (Hempfield) won the 50 freestyle, in a meet against Mansfield last weekend ... Lock Haven University junior Becca Rhoades (Penn Manor) placed second in the 1650 freestyle and 100 backstroke against Mansfield on Saturday ... Shippensburg University freshman Lauren Galbraith (Cedar Crest) placed first in the 200 freestyle relay against Clarion on Friday. In the same event, freshman Whitney Moose (Warwick) took second. Freshmen Emily Jung (Conestoga Valley) and Jason Roth (Cocalico) placed first in their respective 400 medley relays, Galbraith won the 1000 freestyle, and Moose won the 500 freestyle, against Slippery Rock on Saturday.... Johns Hopkins sophomore Erica Pakkala (Warwick) took two thirds in the 100 and 200 back events and a second in the 400 medley relay at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday ... UMBC freshman Brittany Bertoli (Hempfield) placed second in the 200 IM in a meet against Binghamton on Saturday and third in the 200 fly on Sunday against Seton Hall ... junior Ryan Mitten and sophomore Becky Sandbower (both Manheim Twp.) finished second in the 400 medley relay against Marist.
