From around the Commonwealth Conference...

Two former Elco women's soccer players have earned all-conference status. Messiah College senior defender Sarah Hibshman and Elizabethtown College senior defender Lindsay Brown were named to the Commonwealth Conference First Team.

Freshman Amber Thomas (Conestoga Valley) was named Juniata College's Women's Volleyball Player of the Week. She produced 45.5 points, including a pair of double-digit kill efforts, and had 21 digs for the week. In last night's winning effort in a Commonwealth Conference semi-championship game against Moravian, Thomas had 14 kills.

Sophomore Shauna Enck (Manheim Central) scored to break a 1-1 tie and lift Lebanon Valley College to a 2-1 victory over Susquehanna University in the Commonwealth Conference field hockey semifinals on Wednesday. It was Enck's 16th goal of the season.
