Nowak swims, Beahan runs to conference accolades

F&M junior Derek Nowak (Lancaster Catholic) was named the Men's Outstanding Performer at the 2007 Centennial Conference Swimming Championship this past weekend. Nowak won the 500 and 1650 freestyle and the 400-yard individual medley and contributed legs on the winning 400 and 800 free relay squads.

Duquesne sophomore Emily Beahan (Garden Spot) placed first in the distance medley relay and the 1000-meter run at the 2007 Atlantic 10 Conference's Indoor Track & Field Championship Saturday. Beahan received A-10 All-Conference first team honors for her performance.
