Bunting, Downey earn post-season honors

Elizabethtown College sophomore defender Wes Bunting (McCaskey) earned a spot on the 2006 All-Commonwealth Conference First Team in men’s soccer. Bunting recorded two goals, four assists and eight points in 18 games this season.

Gettysburg senior midfielder Maura Downey (Lancaster Catholic) was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III All-South Region second team. Downey, a first-team All-Centennial Conference (CC) selection, was named second-team All-Region after tying for the team-lead with eight goals and leading the Bullets with seven assists and 23 points this season.
