In men's soccer: Shippensburg sophomore Mark Thompson (Ephrata) scored his second goal of the season to lead the Red Raiders to a 3-1 victory over Bloomsburg on Wednesday ... Elizabethtown junior Steve Petrosky (Manheim Central) scored his first goal of the season in a win against Gettysburg Wednesday.

In women's soccer: Lock Haven senior midfielder Holly Homsher (Penn Manor) scored two goals, and sophomore forward Stephanie Fisher (Penn Manor) one goal, in a loss to IUP earlier this week.

In women's tennis: Elizabethtown College freshman Emily Swarr (Manheim Central), playing at number three, won her matches against Grove City and Dickinson earlier this week.

In field hockey: Shippensburg senior Natalie Grazan (Manheim Central) scored two goals and an assist, and sophomore Kimberly Davies (Cedar Crest) added her 10th goal of the season, to lead the Lady Raiders to a 4-0 win over Slippery Rock on Thursday. Grazan and Kendra Emery (Lancaster Mennonite) were recognized in ceremonies before the game as part of Senior Day.
