Thomas is volleyballer of week at Juniata

Sophomore Amber Thomas (Conestoga Valley) was named Juniata College's Volleyball Player of the Week for her role in leading her team to a perfect record at the 2006 ASICS Collegiate Championship. Thomas hit a career-high 29 kills with a .583 hitting percentage in one game while also posting 12 digs, two blocks and a pair of serve aces. She recorded a team-high 14 kills in another game.
