Lots of sports action, lots of conferences

VOLLEYBALL
Carnegie Mellon junior Catie Fisher (Hempfield) led the team with 32 kills in games against Brandeis University and Emory University at the UAA Conference tournament last weekend.

WOMEN'S SOCCER
Delaware University senior keeper Lindsey Shover (Penn Manor) made six saves, including one with less than 10 seconds remaining in the game, in a 1-0 shutout of James Madison on Sunday. It was Shover’s 4th shutout of the season and 18th of her collegiate career.

Drexel freshman goalkeeper Kaitlin Bond (Hempfield) made 11 saves in posting her record-setting 6th shutout of the season in a 2-0 defeat of James Madison. In just 14 games, Bond has tied the record for most career shutouts in school history.
